*The Gift Aid scheme is appropriate to donations made by people who pay income tax or capital gains tax. The Inland Revenue assumes that the donations are being made from income that has been, or will be, taxed and so refunds tax at the standard rate (22%) to Apex. This means that, if you give £780 to Apex, Apex will reclaim £220 from the Inland Revenue, making your gift worth £1,000.
If you are a higher rate (40%) taxpayer, you will be able to reclaim £180 for yourself, so Apex's £1,000 will have cost you only £600. Giving at a discount - what a bargain! Gift Aid can apply to any size of gift at any time of the year, provided that you are liable for enough tax for Apex to reclaim.
To give by Gift Aid, Print a Gift Aid form, fill it in and send it back to us. Thank you for your generousity.
